Carrie graduated from university in 1992 （Zhejiang University  of Technology） , influenced by the mainstream value of “Career first, Family second,”, she spent her early years as a young mother focused on developing her career. However, the price of success in career was neglecting the her first child’s childhood.

In 2010, Carrie immigrated to Singapore, and with the birth of her second child, she began to realize the importance of family: the love and heritage passed down by parents is a lifetime treasure for children!

Carrie reassessed her priorities, calibrated more focus from managing the company and caring for her children. At the same time, as an avid learner, she also pursued and attained a Master of Divinity from Trinity Theological College. During this time, she participated in various courses at Qijia FamilyworksAsia, including Parent Coach, Emotional Wellness for Parents, and Sex Education for Parents.  Eventually, Carrie became a certified facilitator for the Parent Coach programme.

It is more blessed to give than to receive.  Carrie hopes that through her learning and experiences, she can bless and support more immigrant families!

Carrie’s daughters are 14 and 21 years old, she looks forward to continue to grow with them.
